Hanover Iron Works, a rapidly growing miscellaneous metals fabrication and installation company is seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant for our Hanover, PA location. This job consists of performing daily accounting tasks that will support our Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports
• Prepare bank deposits/post ACH payments
• Issue invoices to customers
• Enter invoices for payment and processing
• Track compliance of subcontractors and suppliers
• Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
• Assist the Controller as needed
• Other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Work experience as an Accounting Assistant (3 years required)
• 2-4 year post-secondary degree preferred
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarly with finance regulations
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Experience with Vista Viewpoint is preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
