Hanon Systems is Hiring a Commercial Finance Intern Near Novi, MI

Job Description

This candidate is responsible for supporting finance activities in the development of the 2025 Budget revenue assumptions for Hanon manufacturing sites in the Americas and those plants with specific customers globally.Intern will have exposure and involvement with cross functional and multi-national team members, including commercial, plant controller offices, and regional Novi office staff.

Primary Responsibilities

Supporting monthly close with revenue analysis (KPIs), month over month trends, forecast to actual trends, Risks & Opportunities (R&O) identification
Supporting development of 2025 plant revenue assumptions including revenue KPIs (key performance indicators)
Implementing pre-budget plan of action
Participating in commercial and plant reviews by customer account including volumes, and pricing
Reviewing plant modeling templates for alignment with commercial direction
Junior/Senior status working towards Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance or Accounting

Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications

Evidence of an ability to work effectively as a member of a cross functional / cross discipline team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Background with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office
Preferred skills in excel include vlookups and pivot tables
Demonstrates good time management skills
Demonstrated ability to utilize problem solving skills
Background and demonstrated understanding of basic finance and accounting concepts (provide list of relevant business courses completed, or experience)
