The Oakland Office of Hanna Brophy is looking to hire an Associate Attorney with one to four years' experience, to do workers’ compensation defense work.
Hanna Brophy has been doing workers’ compensation defense for nearly 80 years, and represents a wide range of employers, both private and public entities. We have our own computer system (not an off-the-shelf product) which allows our attorneys to work 100% remote, with full access to all aspects of their defense work from any location. In-person appearances are returning to the Bay Area Workers’ Compensation Boards, so the ability to appear locally in either Oakland, San Francisco, or San Jose is helpful, but not necessarily required.
Depending on the applicant’s experience, the attorney would be provided his/her own caseload. We provide health insurance, a 401k Plan, and we have a competitive salary and bonus program. Hanna Brophy is well known as a firm where successful attorneys with us can advance their professional legal career, and potentially fit into our partnership track and make partner.
