The Product Copywriter is responsible for creating product descriptions, proofing product copy, and maintaining updated product description data on our website. The Product Copywriter works with partners across departments to gather relevant product information to craft accurate and on-brand product descriptions, and collateral copy as needed.
In addition to product descriptions, the Product Copywriter will take on all creative copy for our Collaborations category-which includes emails, web copy, social posts, and paid social ads specifically for our branded partnerships. The Product Copywriter will also support the Creative Team with brand copy for other creative assets as needed.
The Product Copywriter must be exceptionally detail-oriented and organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be thoughtful about the customer journey, and understand the value of the customer relationship. They must have a strong portfolio of work, excellent communication, adaptability, teamwork skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to mirror the Hanna brand voice.

• Create product descriptions for all brand channels, proof product copy, and maintain updated product description data on the website
• Compile fabrications, product features, country of origin, etc. from sample or database information
• Apply creative strategy to create persuasive product descriptions
• Own all creative copy for our Collaborations category-including emails, web copy, social posts, and paid social ads for our branded partnerships
• Write drafts of collateral copy as needed to support cross-functional team projects, including retail print pieces, product tags, and printed marketing material
• Compile support documents as needed for copy team
• Additional Creative Team support assigned as necessary

What you'll bring:

• Bachelors degree in English, Marketing or related field preferred
• Excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to mirror Hanna brand voice
• Thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with fast-paced turnaround times
• 2 years copywriting experience for apparel sales (apparel, fashion or retail environment strongly preferred)
• Strong portfolio of work
• Collaborative communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to direction and feedback
• Proficiency in a Mac environment using Word, Excel required

$26.50 - $28.50 an hour

This listed base salary range is a good faith representation of the base salary range for this position. However, location, unique skills and/or exceptional experience may result in an offer outside of the stated range.
