Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction
• Leverage cutting-edge construction estimating software to enhance efficiency and accuracy in your estimations. Stay ahead of industry trends and technology to streamline processes

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop comprehensive project bids.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project scope
• Research and analyze historical data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to ensure accurate cost estimates
• Utilize construction estimating software or similar tools to create detailed estimates
• Review and negotiate vendor and subcontractor bids to ensure competitive pricing
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and identify opportunities for cost control
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial forecasts
• Maintain accurate records of all estimating activities

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Construction Estimator or Assistant Construction Estimator
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and positive attitude
• Welcomes a challenge
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents
