FURNITURE REPAIR TECHNICIAN | NORTH LITTLE ROCK | FULL TIME
You must have at least 2 years of furniture repair experience and an excellent driving record!
Hank’s is seeking a furniture tech for our distribution center. Applicant must be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Must be proficient in wood and upholstery repair. Leather repair is a plus, but not a requirement. Pay is based on experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess claims to determine cause of reported problems.
- Assess damages to determine the appropriate method of repair for ALL types of furniture.
- Ability to use techniques such as fillers, burn ins, color matching, structural repairs and the removal and replacement of frame, mechanical, electrical and upholstery parts.
- Perform furniture “deluxing” and other described repairs with professional results.
- Maintain neat, organized and safe work environment, including management of replacement parts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years proven hands-on furniture repair experience.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to properly relay details of all claims repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to repair all types of furniture by problem solving, multi tasking and time management.
- Reliable attendance with the flexibility to work extended hours if necessary.
- Must be able to lift, lower, push and pull furniture of all sizes up to an in excess of 100lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
