Cleaner Job Description

A Cleaner is a service industry worker who ensures that workplaces, residences, or office buildings remain clean and sanitary. Their responsibilities include a range of tasks to maintain a tidy environment. Here are the key duties and requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Stocking:
• Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas, including:
• Dusting
• Sweeping
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Cleaning ceiling fans
• Restroom cleaning
• Routine Inspections:
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Ensure cleanliness standards are met consistently.
• Heavy Cleaning Tasks:
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks as needed.
• Handle special projects when assigned.
• Supply Management:
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Team Cooperation:
• Cooperate with other staff members.
• Health and Safety:
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven Experience:
• Previous working experience as a Cleaner.
• Chemical Knowledge:
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Integrity:
• Demonstrates honesty and reliability.
• Education:
• High school degree or equivalent.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
