Job Duties/Scope Of Work
* Lead projects and tasks across multiple companies looking broadly across functions, access processes and capabilities to seek out opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage strong coordination, communications and change leadership skills for optimal performance and customer delivery of information assurance products and services.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports for the development, deployment, management, and maintenance of legacy and new software.
  • Coordinate and develop IT systems documentation consistent with internal or other Hanford contractor Software Quality Assurance documentation standards and processes.
  • Coordinate resources and provide project management oversight and guidance on software development efforts including requirements identification, design, development, testing, software quality assurance documentation, deployment, and retirement of software.
  • Identify repeatable processes that can be utilized for multiple business units for efficiency and standardization.
  • Provide technical advice/input that impact strategic intents and assist with driving business results.
  • Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that assist the Hanford mission.
  • Serve as a lead on large, complex projects. Mentor and coach other professional staff.
  • Analyze highly complex business problems to seek understanding of the underlying issue and root cause of the problem. Improve upon existing solutions, programs and processes using significant conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation.
  • Mediates internal and external parties to acceptable concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Utilizes expert domain knowledge, professional principles, and theories to develop advanced concepts, techniques, solutions, and standards. Serve as a subject matter expert within Business Management Systems.
  • Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with peers, staff supporting IM subcontractors and customer base.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate to involved parties throughout the project life cycle, effectively communicate project expectations to team members and, track milestones and deliverables to completion.
  • Advise management of developments that could affect project budget, schedule, costs, client relations, etc. and provide recommended corrective actions as needed.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential challenges and devise contingency plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of and actively pursue industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Manage and oversee project resources to accomplish project objectives and ensure quality services and products are rendered and regularly provide input regarding performance of resources to upper management.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to management including status on work/project schedules.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree - OR - an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 8 years of related experience in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems.
  • Strong problem-solving analytical skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership skills, software life cycle, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Qualifications
* Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Team Leadership and Management experience.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.
  • Functional knowledge of business and software life cycles.
  • Experience with implementation and/or operations of Oracle PeopleSoft or other business ERP products.
  • Experience with SQL or other query languages.
  • Experience with Crystal Reporting, SAP Business Objects, Microsoft Power BI, or other reporting solutions.
Compensation & Benefits
Grade 18: $104,175 - $131,425
Grade 19: $114,475 - $144,325
Grade 20: $126,025 - $158,875
