ABOUT OUR TEAM:
The Business Process Compliance (BPC) team is responsible for the development, implementation, management, and maintenance of an effective business compliance program using data analytics. In addition, the BPC team manages HMIS' labor timekeeping floor check process, performs specialized management assessments, and also monitors and communicates proactively with employees and managers on potential labor and non-labor compliance issues.
JOB SUMMARY:
The BPC team is looking to fill an entry-level project administrator position to support the overall business compliance program activities as described below. This position will report to the BPC Manager and will be responsible for performing monthly floor checks and leading the process and steps used to assign, manage, and report on floor check results. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for recommending enhancements to the floor check process, conducting timekeeping training, based on the holistic evaluation of data, and act as a liaison between BPC and floor check reviewers from other organizations.
This position will also monitor government vehicle telemetry data and submit trip reports for potentially questionable vehicle usage to all levels of HMIS management. In addition, this position will monitor assigned background data analytics and submit notifications of potentially non-compliant situations to employees and managers from all HMIS organizations.
Essential job duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform monthly execution of floor check processes by leading, assigning, and doing floor check interviews; assisting other floor check performers across the organization, being a point of contact for questions, and performing all other job duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with other floor check assessors across the company and within various organizations to ensure timely and effective completion of monthly floor check assignments, to increase overall completion.
  • Validating floor check results and data analytic visualizations and graphics and developing status reports.
  • Lead in all necessary training and continuous improvements for new and existing floor check performers to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the floor check program.
  • Monitor background data analytics and distribute notifications for assigned analytics to employees and managers based on BPC data analytics reports. Provide status to management while confirming that appropriate actions are taken, to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
  • Lead in document capture by putting necessary records in the central repository system (i.e., Integrated Document Management System [IDMS]) and retain/assess documentation necessary to support business compliance program activities.
  • Perform daily telemetry data reviews from the GeoTab database to check for government vehicle utilization for speeding and potentially unallowable/questionable trips/stops; distribute telemetry trip packages to all levels of HMIS management for further evaluation and justification/response.
  • Provide additional ad hoc support, as assigned by the BPC Manager, associated with Business Process Compliance program activities and compliance.
  • The successful candidate may be assigned as the functional subject matter expert (SME) for the Floor Check Process procedure, once commensurate with their level of experience.
Basic Qualifications
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Management, or related field, plus 1-3 years of direct working experience within the business compliance field - OR - an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Possess proficient analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of or familiar with Microsoft Office Suite of software applications.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, and team-work skills.
  • Must have directly demonstrated experience skills with supporting business compliance activities.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management with effective written and verbal communications.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with utilizing Power BI data analytics reports for compliance and decision-making.
  • Experience using Hanford IDMS and SharePoint platforms or equivalent systems.
  • Experience with Hanford applications and/or similar financial management software programs such as TIS, Crystal, PeopleSoft, Asset Suite, HANDI, & HPIC desired but not required for consideration.
  • Knowledge and experience about the Hanford Site clean-up mission is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Grade 14: $71,200 - $89,800
Grade 15: $78,338 - $98,813
Grade 16: $86,138 - $108,513
