The Opportunity:
Hands Across Long Island, Inc. (HALI) is a non-profit, peer-run mental health agency providing advocacy and support to people experiencing trauma, mental health, and co-occurring life challenges. Position Summary:
The Advocacy Specialist is a member of the HALI Empowerment team. This is an opportunity to support individuals in learning and implementing the skills needed to be self-advocates, connecting them with opportunities for our community to be heard, and supporting individuals with benefit navigation. The Advocacy Specialist reports to the Senior Director, Recovery Services.

Work Location: Central Islip, NY. Local travel may be required. HALI vehicles may be used as appropriately.
Work Hours/Schedule: Full time, 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8:30am - 4pm
Pay: $40,000-$50,000 annually dependent upon experience and credentials
