Handi-Crafters, a provider of employment opportunities and other supportive services for individuals with disabilities, is looking for an enthusiast, motivating and positive professional to join our workshop supervisor’s team.

Job Summary: Perform a wide variety of duties to set up, instruct, motivate and supervise activities of clients assigned to him/her and implement activities specified in the individual's ISP.

Education: Minimally high school diploma or GED. Preferred 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university.

Experience: 1 year experience in industry or vocational rehabilitation, ability to perform data entry, good people skills.

Position Responsibilities:

• Instruct clients in basic job requirements and skills
• Assist clients in moving toward a higher vocational or rehabilitation goal
• Assure contracts are completed on time and according to customer specifications
• Set up work areas to assist clients to achieve efficient production
• Count and record daily production data and enter data into computerized payroll system
• Monitor clients to reach goals
• Maintain quality standards
• Count and record daily production data and enter data into computerized payroll system
• Monitor breaks, lunches and program changes throughout the day
• Maintain daily attendance records

• Provide written monthly reports
• Attend team meetings to participate in planning efforts
• Substitute for other workshop supervisors as required
• Participate in training programs and time studies as required
• Maintain confidentiality of all client-related information
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $38,500.00 - $40,000.00 per year
