Location: Wilson, NC / Monday through Friday, with Flexibility / Depending on Experience, Salary Range $65,000 to $75,000 plus a guaranteed 20% Bonus

We are currently seeking a District Transportation Manager to cover our Southern and Western Retail Medical Districts.

The District Transportation Manager provides effective management to improve, control, measure, and increase the quality of customer service provided by their assigned Route Service Representatives (RSR). It is the responsibility of the District Transportation Manager to ensure that all RSR’s are safely executing all daily tasks and providing Total Customer Service to each account. The District Transportation Manager will, on occasion, fill in on routes as needed.

The ideal District Service Manager candidate will:

• Follow all Federal, State and Local regulations and HandCraft Safety Policies.
• Ensure compliance by all RSR’s with all Federal and State DOT requirements.
• Complete requisitions, interview and hire RSR’s.
• Train RSR’s in proper execution of the RSR Handbook.
• Ensure each RSR executes their daily route delivery process as per HandCraft guidelines.
• Collaborate with Customer Relations Specialists, seek feedback and address areas of opportunity to improve RSR’s Customer service.
• Schedule RSR shifts and ensure all routes are covered for vacations and holidays.
• Maintain fleet in a safe manner to include maintenance and cleanliness of all vehicles.
• Ensure daily completion of all RSR requirements including, but not limited to, DVIR, Bulk Counts, LinenMaster mobile application, etc.
• Collaborate with TRANSPORTATION SAFETY to ensure all RSR’s are properly trained and are executing all HandCraft safety policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous management experience with strong leadership skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relations Software packages.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and able to deal with conflict.
• Ability to adapt to change and a rapidly growing customer base.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift and handle linen bags weighing up to 40 pounds on occasion.
• Ability to push and pull linen carts weighing up to 450 pounds.
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, and/or drive for extended periods of time.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel roughly 20%.
• Understand and comply with all safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Comply with HandCraft and hospital appearance, uniform, and grooming guidelines.
• Must pass customer credentialing.
• Must be willing to receive vaccinations as required by customers.
