DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Body Services Strategy is a driven, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills, proven analytical ability, strong interpersonal skills and leadership traits, and an understanding of Hand & Stone policies and procedures. In their role, the Director of Body Services Strategy is responsible for helping the business define, plan, and implement solutions to expand the company’s market share in the body contouring category in the U.S., as well as expand market share in the laser services category in Canada.

This role is a hybrid in office/remote position and reports directly to the Chief Brand Officer. The Body Services Operations Manager will report to the DOBSS.

The DOBSS will be responsible for the success of sales within the body services segment. Results will be measured on overall total sales and YoY growth, the ability to drive new customer acquisition and existing customer cross modality utilization, drive series sales, and increase the composition of body services relative to the overall service mix.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Body Contouring P&L.
  • Assess pricing and promotional strategy.
  • Propose innovative solutions to drive growth.
  • Analyze market trends, assess competitor activity.
  • Oversee the responsibilities of the Body Services Operations Manager.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Technology departments and Senior Management to execute effective business strategies.
  • Work with Creative Director and Digital Product Manager on branded and promotional campaigns to drive performance.
  • Work with third party agencies to build customer funnel and improve lead generation and campaign management.
  • Partner with franchisees and other spa leaders to drive sales and profit.
  • Identify and share best practices of top performing spas.
  • Utilize KPIs to assess operational weaknesses across the chain and develop strategies to improve performance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-10 years’ experience in consumer product management/strategy or equivalent industry experience, with specific focus on product or channel management

REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills
