Hancock County Savings Bank is Hiring a Bank Teller Near Chester, WV

This position is responsible for processing various customer transactions; such as but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Provide timely service and efficiently complete customer’s transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper cash handling. A teller is also responsible for greeting all customers and providing exceptional customer service at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Process customer transactions such as checking or savings deposits, check cashing and checking or savings withdrawals.
  • Process customer loan payments.
  • Selling money orders and official bank checks.
  • Redeeming U.S. savings bonds.
  • Process cash advances on credit cards.
  • Ensure that all customers present the correct identification and that all signatures match the ID.
  • Balance the ATM and replenish the cash and supplies in the ATM under dual control.
  • Balance the Vault under dual control.
  • Identify banking services to the needs of customers and answer customer inquiries. Refer customer questions and/or requests to the appropriate department. Accurately complete the required forms for the various banking services offered.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and adhere to required cash drawer limits.
  • Balance coin machine daily and empty full bags from coin machine
  • Provide quality customer service at all times.
  • Attend appropriate training sessions as required and complete regulatory compliance training in a timely manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to gather information and solve problems.
  • Prepare records for storage. Ensure proper record retention and destruction guidelines are followed.
  • Meet the BSA/AML and OFAC requirements as outlined in the following:
  • Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Policy/Procedures
  • Customer Identification Program (CIP)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
