Position Overview:
Hancock Aviation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager of Aircraft Services to join our team. This role is crucial for overseeing our aircraft maintenance and services department, ensuring operational efficiency, high-quality service delivery, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the aircraft services department, including maintenance, repairs, and installations.
  • Manage day-to-day operations ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting of project timelines.
  • Oversee a team of technicians and support staff, providing leadership, training, and development opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance measures to meet or exceed FAA standards.
  • Manage budgets, forecast resources, and schedule necessary for departmental success.
  • Develop and implement strategies for service improvement, cost reduction, and increased profitability.
  • Conduct performance reviews, manage work order processes, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • A&P certification and/or additional technical training in aviation maintenance.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in aviation maintenance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in managing full-scale aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing effective teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with various aircraft models, including knowledge of maintenance requirements and service upgrades.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on resolving operational challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
