Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine and Sports Medicine is Hiring a Patient Registration Specialist Near Newport, VA
HROSM is seeking a FT Patient Registration Specialist for our busy Newport News location. Hours will be 8a-5p Mon-Fri
Duties will be but not limited to the following:
- Entering patient demographic information
- Verifying insurance in-network status, ensure all referrals are received
- Checking eligibility and benefits
- Collecting co-pays and balances on accounts
- Provide necessary paperwork to all incoming patients as applicable
- Scanning registration paperwork into EMR
- Scheduling appointments and printing orders
Requirements:
- Must have 2 years prior registration experience in a medical office
- Must have strong working knowledge of insurances and eligibility/benefits verification
- Experience with Office365 required
- Experience with NextGen PM (preferred but not required)
