Housing Stabilization Specialist

Salary: $46,016

We are seeking a dedicated Housing Stabilization Specialist with a specialized focus on individuals facing behavioral health conditions and developmental disabilities, including substance abuse disorders, serious mental illnesses (SMI), and co-occurring disorders. In this crucial role, you will work closely with a diverse and vulnerable population, providing tailored support to secure and maintain stable housing. Your responsibilities will encompass assessment, individualized housing planning, and collaboration with external agencies and resources. By advocating for the unique needs of our clients and connecting them to vital housing services and support systems, you will play an instrumental role in improving the lives of those facing these challenges. The Housing Stabilization Specialist's work involves managing a caseload, supportive counseling and in-home housing-focused skill building.

The work schedule is primarily Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm; however, occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.

Housing Stabilization Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, such as Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or Counseling, and one (1) year of case management experience including housing resources for adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders. Valid state Driver's License.

The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
