Part-Time Direct Care Associate II

$2.50 shift differential for evenings, overnights, and weekend

The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board is seeking dedicated Part-Time Direct Care Associates to join our team to help us make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve. As a Direct Care Associate, you will play an essential role in ensuring the residents in our Intermediate Care Facilities receive the highest level of care. Flexible work schedules are available.

Direct Care Associate's responsibilities include bathing, dressing and grooming, feeding and meal preparation, and medication management for individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities or other conditions that require total care with daily living activities. An ideal candidate will show a passion for serving others, be a team player, and possess good communication skills.

Requirements:

One year of direct care experience working with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, mental illness, or experience working in an Intermediate Care Facility, CNA a plus.

Valid Virginia Drivers

The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
