Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate License Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team in Punta Gorda, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to our residents. The License Practical Nurse will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician when needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Provide wound care and other basic nursing procedures
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers
- Document patient care and progress in medical records
- Communicate with patients and their families about their care plan and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents
Requirements
- Current license as a License Practical Nurse in the state of Florida
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
