Job Description: Dietary Aide
Location: Hampton Manor of Punta Gorda
Skills Required: Dietary Aide
The Dietary Aide will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with established standards
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
- Assist in the ordering and receiving of food and supplies
- Assist in the preparation of special diets as needed
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of dining areas
- Assist in the training of new dietary staff
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read and write English
- Able to work weekends.
- Experience in food service preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
