We're seeking a dynamic Activity Assistant to collaborate closely with our Activities Director in curating a vibrant and diverse array of daily activities tailored to our residents' interests and abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Activity Planning & Execution: Devise, organize, and supervise a spectrum of activities, from parties and games to exercise sessions, book clubs, crafts, and more.
• Resident Involvement: Actively encourage resident participation, incorporating their suggestions and feedback into activity planning.
• Community Engagement: Organize seminars, coordinate resident meetings, and participate in local planner associations to foster community involvement.
• Communication & Publication: Develop monthly activity calendars, newsletters, and distribution materials to keep residents, families, and stakeholders informed.
• Personalized Engagement: Conduct interviews with new residents, understanding their backgrounds, preferences, and abilities to tailor activities.
• Resource Management: Efficiently utilize departmental resources, including budgets, while maintaining accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• (5 years of experience)
• Ability to innovate and adapt activities to meet changing resident interests
• Organizational and multitasking abilities
• Previous experience in event planning or senior care activities is advantageous
