The Housekeeping Inspector who will be responsible for inspecting all guest rooms and ensuring the proper cleanliness of guest rooms and linen closets.

As a Housekeeping Inspector, you will be responsible for giving our guests the best hospitality experience they can have by :

Train and inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, appropriate guest amenities, and the working conditions of all guest rooms.

Ensures that cleanliness and quality standards are met.

  • Check status of all guest rooms to include guest requests, out of order rooms and rooms to be cleaned each day.
  • Assess inventory and assign rooms for cleaning.
  • Verify and report status and / or discrepancies of rooms.
  • Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of guest rooms. Communicate and coordinate with Engineering to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms.
  • Perform Housekeeper duties, as needed
  • Assist department manager in maintaining close control and inventory of linen and supplies.
  • Assists in the maintenance of the lost and found program.
  • Issues proper keys to authorized personnel. Maintains key control.
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Performs any other duties as requested by your manager

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : A high school education or equivalent experience, with one to two years of employment related experience is required.

Working knowledge of housekeeping is expected. Supervisory skills are required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : You must be able to communicate effectively with staff, management and guests. The ability to operate a two-way radio, cleaning and general office equipment, including a computer, is expected.

This position requires continuous movement and standing, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push or pull up to 35 pounds.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
