The Hampton Inn & Suites is seeking to expand our maintenance staff to work with & assist our experienced maitenance person.

Position Title: Maintenance, Part-Time

Position Summary: This position is responsible for the assisting with the maintenance of the hotel’s building and grounds & working with our current maintenance staff. Must have reliable transportation. Must have weekend availability. No phone calls please.

Essential Position Functions:

• Maintain the building and grounds to meet hotel standards.
• Respond to requests from guests for assistance and information about guest rooms and hotel.
• Perform preventive maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
• Plan and execute on-going appropriate maintenance programs.
• Ensure that property and equipment are maintained in a safe manner, and that all repairs are made as specified by manufacture.
• Service the hotel’s pool including cleaning, appearance, and chemical balance and completing maintenance log.
• Maintain building exterior.
• Complete maintenance logs.
• Responsible for maintaining tool inventory and condition. Keep maintenance storage room and maintenance room cleaned and organized.
• May perform or assist with periodic or scheduled cleaning projects.
• Maintain open communication with other hotel departments.
• Understand and help monitor basic safety and security procedures of the hotel.
• Assist other departments when needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Working Relationships:

• Interacts with all other maintenance team.

• Reports to General Manager, Front Office Manager and or Ownership
