Overview:

Opportunity: Parking Attendant

Greet and assist guests parking in hotel parking lot and collect payment of parking fees in accordance with established guest service and cash handling standards.

Essential Job Functions

  • Monitor parking lot and assist in directing guests to available spots.
  • Monitor safety and security of parking lot and report any issues or concerns to hotel management, security and/or law enforcement as necessary.
  • Collect payment for parking services in compliance with established cash handling and accounting procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the parking lot, collecting and disposing of trash and maintaining and cleaning surfaces.
  • Count bank at end of shift, complete necessary documentation, resolve any discrepancies, and secure bank in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist guests or refer guests to necessary associates for help with any questions or requests.
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHMs EarthView program.
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous related experience a plus.

Work Environment and Context

  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Position includes working outdoors.
