Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in guest rooms when housekeeping is shortstaffed and common areas of the hotel. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors when needed

- Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and public restrooms

- Ensure small maintenance issues or safety hazards are repaired

- Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner

- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety standards

- Maintain a positive attitude and work well as part of a team

Requirements:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required

- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time

- Excellent customer service skills
