Position Summary:
As a Laundry Attendant at Holiday Inn Express, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and quality of our linens, towels, and other hotel textiles. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other hotel textiles according to established procedures.
• Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage, and make necessary repairs or replacements.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of clean linens.
• Monitor and replenish laundry supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk staff to prioritize laundry tasks based on hotel occupancy.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols for handling laundry chemicals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 32 per week
