Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable environment for our guests. This is a vital role in our organization, as cleanliness is a top priority for our guests' satisfaction.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and furniture polishing.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
- Make beds and change linens as required
- Replenish supplies such as towels, toilet paper, and soap
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and elevators
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while handling cleaning chemicals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of hotel housekeeping practices is a plus
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established cleaning procedures
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Knowledge of custodial practices for maintaining cleanliness in various settings (e.g., hotels, offices)
- Understanding of hospitality standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment is an advantage
