Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in maintaining various equipment and systems of the hotel. Customer service experience is also helpful.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility is to keep mechanical systems of the hotel in good, working order.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to perform basic plumbing & electrical repairs is required including working with guest room PTAC units, hotel water softeners & water heaters, room & exterior door locks, lighting, sink & bathtub/shower faucets, wallpaper, carpet, tile, painting, caulking, grout repair and other items that may need repair or replacement.
• preventative maintenance of guest rooms and public areas per Hilton standards
• cleaning public & outside areas: picking up trash/debris, salting & snow removal from sidewalks (parking lot is contracted out for snow removal), trimming bushes & other light duty lawn/property care as needed.
• contacting local contractors for major items or installations of which hotel Maintenance will work alongside (if necessary) to assist as needed.
• Pool Operator License will be required to maintain the pool / hot tub area.
