Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service will contribute to creating a positive guest experience.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Replenish towels, toiletries, and other amenities
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
-Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards
Skills:
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Excellent time management skills
Please note that previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required. Industrial cleaning experience is also a plus.

This position requires walking primarily on a hard, level surface throughout the workday. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Environmental Conditions:
This job operates in a hotel environment. This role frequently comes in contact with cleaning chemicals, supplies, and odors.
Sensory Demands:
The noise level is low to moderate in the building. There will be frequent interruptions from guests.
Mental Demands:
There are a number of daily deadlines associated with this position, which may cause stress to some individuals. The position must also deal with a wide variety of people and may encounter conflict.
WORK EXPECTATIONS
Regularly scheduled up to 40 hours per week, but overtime and weekend hours could be required at times.
