Our organization is looking for a responsible and highly skilled LIFEGUARD to join our team YEAR ROUND!

A successful candidate will be able to create a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor pool activities and ensure the safety of all guests in designated areas.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies including performing water rescues and administering first aid when necessary.
• Diplomatically enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to patrons by addressing concerns and answering questions.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and facilities while maintaining a clean and organized pool area.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay current with safety and rescue techniques.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management to ensure a cohesive team environment.

Requirements

• Must possess current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or equivalent certification.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications.
• Strong swimmer with excellent physical fitness.
• Ability to remain calm and react quickly in emergency situations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work early morning shifts, starting at 4:30am. NO EVENINGS or WEEKENDS.
