The Hammond Academy of Science and Technology is seeking Secondary Math (6 -12) teacher candidates for the 2024 - 25 school year.
The school currently enrolls approximately 550 students in grades 6-12. The Academy serves a diverse population of students. The curriculum is project-based, reflecting the complexity of the real world. Instructional technology is infused throughout daily instruction and integrated into the curriculum and instructional methodologies. Partnerships with local organizations open the learning environment to the outside world.
Experience with project-based learning is preferable but not required.
Candidates must be certified teachers in the State of Indiana or hold appropriate out-of-state certificates which qualify for transfer to Indiana.
Salary and Benefits: A regionally competitive salary with excellent employment benefits based on the qualifications and employment history of the candidate.
