About The Role

As the Team Lead for the Drive Up assembly department you will plan, schedule, implement, and monitor production activities, ensuring contract requirements, product specifications, and deadlines are met. The Team Lead to run the Drive Up assembly Team/production. Subject matter expert on all things regarding the Drive Up assembly process. Must obtain understanding of how to assemble all AIR parts, test, troubleshoot and repair. Must have a large attention towards detail. Ensure quality processes including spot checking in process or completed assemblies. Must be able to train, coach and drive the AIR team. Responsible for ordering all purchased parts and internal fabricated parts, ensuring all components are on hand when needed. Establish usage, reorder points. Initiate, implement and sustain lean initiative processes.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday 6am to 4:30pm

What You Will Do

  • Manage Inventory ensuring proper organization and labeling
  • Manage inventory levels of raw material and finished product for department. Identifies, acquires, and ensures the availability of materials and supplies.
  • Ensures Daily team meetings occur each day.
  • Ensures Gemba Board is updated and maintained to ensure communication.
  • Schedules and coordinates work with and of appropriate department staff so that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • RMA management.
  • Assists Production Supervisor in drafting, developing, and implementing cost-effective manufacturing methods and procedures to ensure that production is within applicable standards.
  • Responsible for quality assurance.
  • Performs production activities to ensure daily production schedule is met.
  • Ensure associates are wearing proper PPE for role and wearing uniforms/approperiate attire per company guidelines.
  • Identifies requirements for packaging and shipping.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in related field; or two years related experience in electrical assembly or equivalent education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints to draft clear and detailed manufacturing procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365.
