Hamilton Property Management Company is looking for a resourceful, customer-focused maintenance technician to join our team! As a maintenance technician you will be the face of our company with our residents. You will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the property. You will be an essential member of our team and integral to the day-to-day operations of our property. A combination of technical, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills as well as an understanding of general maintenance and systems will help you to succeed in this position and exceed company goals.

Essential job duties include:

• Preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Apartment turnovers.
• Completing work orders in a timely manner.
• General upkeep of property grounds and amenities.
• Assist property manager with day-to-day operations of community.
• Work with onsite staff to maintain quality standards and ensure a positive living experience for all residents.
• Always keep organized and safe maintenance shop and storage areas.
• Additional duties as needed.

Qualified individuals will possess the following:

• 1 year experience in maintenance, multi-family experience preferred.
• Ability to handle tile work, carpentry and all make ready projects.
• General knowledge and technical skills needed to complete apartment maintenance.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions.
• Able to push, pull and lift over 50lbs.
• Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Knowledge of equipment functions, appliances, and ladders.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexibility to work weekends and on-call schedule.

Preferred skills:

• HVAC certification
• Pool maintenance experience
• EPA Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
