Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts is a K-12 Magnet School growing a vibrant, competitive athletic program. Coaches are expected to uphold the school's Code of Conduct which promotes respect, responsibility and fairness. It is essential to implement

• Strong organizational skills in scheduling and running practices and games, and other activities of the team
• Strong communication skills with parents, players and staff
• A positive attitude that will promote the Code of Conduct 

Non-faculty Coaches and Classified Employee Coaches must complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position. Coaches who have successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013, will not be required to take the NFHS courses.
