Hawkeye Kids Summer Support Staff (Blue Star Elementary)

Job Summary: Hamilton Community Schools is seeking an individual to serve as summer Hawkeye Kids summer childcare staff member. 

Location: Blue Star Elementary

Reports To: Before & After School Childcare Coordinator

Hourly Pay Rate: $14.67/hour (internal employees will receive $14.67 or their current rate, whichever is higher) 

Hours:

• Monday-Friday
• 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Maximum of 30 hours per week)

Start Date: June 10

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise and support children as directed by the site supervisor. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 17 years of age (high school students may apply)
• Must maintain a positive and professional attitude
• Experience working with children preferred
• Have a caring, patient, flexible demeanor
• Regular, predictable attendance
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must receive TB testing, background check, and additional onboarding training requirements.
