• Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move. Develop an individualized treatment plan
• Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition. Using exercises, stretching, equipment and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility and prevent further injury Specialists Orthopedic, Cardiovascular/Pulmonary, Geriatric, Neurological, Vestibular
• Chart review is routinely performed to assess appropriateness of the referral and contraindications for evaluation/treatment
• PTs interpret findings from examination, diagnostic studies /medical tests and, during evaluation, select appropriate clinical tests and measures, and then integrate findings into the physical therapy plan of care for the full range of patient populations. Evaluative data is used to implement a comprehensive patient treatment plan that is based on current research, education and outcomes data
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Other duties within scope as assigned

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card
• Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance

• Individuals must be a graduate of a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited college or university. The CAPTE is the only accreditation agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) to accredit entry-level physical therapy programs
• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
• DEA License
• Current BLS certification. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred
