LOCATION:
Hamadeh Educational Services, Inc. (HES) is an educational service provider that services PK-12 public school academies in the Metro Detroit area and is seeking highly qualified and motivated Paraprofessional to work directly with our Special Education Department.
Our students come from diverse educational & ethnic backgrounds attending at:
Star International Academy (PreK-12): Dearborn Heights/Canton Township
Universal Academy (PreK-12) – Detroit
Universal Learning Academy (Pre-K-10)- Westland
Noor International Academy (Pre-K-6) - Sterling Heights
JOB POSTING DATE: January 12, 2023
SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
BENEFITS: Health, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability, 401 (K), Tuition Reimbursement and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In collaboration with the Special Education team, provides 1:1 support to ASD students
Assists in providing differentiated instruction consistent with the IEP and the lesson plans
Supports in planning and executing activities & projects appropriate to the students’ needs
Assists with creating and maintaining an orderly classroom environment
Keeps students’ records and files of individualized instructional activities
Assists students with general classroom routines, related activities, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable learning environment
