HALO Dx is Hiring a Prostate Operations Manager Near Indian, CA

The Prostate Program is one of HALO Diagnostics’ (formerly Desert Medical Imaging) key programs offering a full range of prostate procedures. The Prostate Operations Manager will work closely with the Clinical and Operational Prostate team to serve a diverse population of oncology patients. The Prostate Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and for achieving the monthly production goals for their team, while ensuring our patients receive the high level of customer service and patient centered care.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES

Team Leadership:

· Engages staff to achieve departmental and overall organizational goals; prioritizes responsibilities and objectives so goals may be accomplished.

· Develops programs to assure employee satisfaction

· Counsels employees and carries out disciplinary action when appropriate and completes documentation according to policy

· Controls hourly employee time and attendance; reviews and approves payroll; and addresses staffing needs

· Makes recommendations to leadership for employment actions and conducts annual performance evaluations

· Coordinates staff schedules to accommodate individual vacation time and sick leave to ensure overall organization is not left shorthanded

Hiring and Training:

· Responsible for recruiting and training new employees

· Manages performance of individual staff members

· Defines staffing requirements and selects well-qualified candidates for appropriate positions

Relationships:

· Interacts with physicians, clinical and executive leadership on a professional and competent level, instilling confidence and trust

· Establishes and maintains credible working relationships with external and/or partner physicians and third-party vendors

· Provides the highest level of customer service to patients, physicians, outsider providers/vendors, and internal customers

Process Improvement:

· Partners with cross-functional teams (e.g. IT, product, business development) to prioritize and create delivery roadmap for strategic initiatives

· Sets clear performance criteria and evaluates staff on a timely basis, taking corrective action as needed to improve performance deficiencies.

· Assists office staff in identifying and solving patient care problems

· Assists in the development and dissemination of policies and procedures

· Assists in the continuous development, implementation, and monitoring of quality improvement activities to meet the mission, goals, and objectives of the practice

· Recommends changes in organizational procedures to optimize clinic workflow, quality of service, and site productivity to maintain the highest level of patient satisfaction

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

· 3-5 years’ experience in operations and/or business development, preferably at a top consulting, technology or innovative consumer products business

· Experience at a high-growth tech company a plus

· MBA is a plus but not required

· Outstanding analytical capabilities, including financial modeling skills

· Ability to develop clear and compelling executive-level presentations

· Ability to work effectively and achieve results across internal functional areas and external parties in ambiguous situations

· Strong oral and written communication skills; confidence and poise in presenting to teammates and executive leadership
