We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Infrastructure division and build innovative projects in the transit and transportation sectors, such as roads, highways/freeways, bridges, interchanges, LRTs, BRTs, and airports. About the Role 

The Project Engineer is a construction professional with a business unit portfolio and client focus. Driven by a commitment to the organization, the incumbent coordinates, and exercises functional control for the tracking of planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of projects within the area of assigned responsibility. Fully proficient with the technical, leadership, and communication skills required to assist with complex projects from estimate to close-out, the incumbent can manage tracking all aspects of project financials, costing, safety, quality, subcontracting, labor, and equipment. The incumbent is leveraged by the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure proper execution of work and compliance with policy and management systems including but not limited to:

  • Utilizes project tracking programs, including defining the project costs, activities, milestones, and staff requirements, per contract requirements.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of a schedule and budget for the assigned project.
  • Provides accurate reports on the status of project schedules, costs and issues.
  • Provides project expenditure information, and ensures costs are within limitations of project budget.
  • Coordinates, prepares and delivers project documents, and required information.
  • Coordinates and oversees specific phases or aspects of project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing as assigned.
  • Reviews product design and documents for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
  • Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
  • Prepares accurate reports. Provides status and progress reports to customer, project team, and management as assigned.
