Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience as a caregiver
Knowledge of senior care principles and practices
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Must be able to pass a criminal background check

What is live-in caregiving?

Live-in caregiving is not moving into a clients home to be a roommate. It is a model of full time care that provides the caregiver room and board, and time to rest/sleep, while living on the property during their shifts to be available to a client who cannot be left completely alone. Unlike 24/7 clients, these clients do not need constant attention. This allows the caregiver independent time. Caregiver may need to occasionally assist with small tasks during the night (toileting being the most common) and needs to be able to assist in the case of an emergency during overnight hours. But otherwise is able to utilize their room on site to rest and/or relax during the night. Clients home cannot be used as a primary residence, another caregiver may live on the premises during your days off!

Must work at least four consecutive days weekly - days of the week are flexible.
