Halliday Watkins & Mann P.C is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Invoicing Processor with experience in legal file management systems to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing invoices, ensuring billing accuracy, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The role requires working with financial data, reviewing and reconciling invoices, and responding to billing inquiries. The ideal candidate should have a strong self-initiative and the ability to work independently, consistently meeting deadlines and taking ownership of responsibilities with little supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Review and reconcile invoices to ensure billing accuracy
• Respond to billing inquiries from clients or stakeholders
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve billing-related issues as needed
• Organize and maintain billing systems, including legal file management systems

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in accounting or finance preferred
• Experience with invoicing, billing, and financial data management is preferred but not required
• Experience with mortgage default servicing and related invoicing is highly desirable
• Experience with legal file management systems such as CaseAware is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
• Ability to learn new software systems quickly

Physical Requirements:

• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods of time
