Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

Reports To: Marketing Director

Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Marketing Director to drive traffic, increase sales, and engage with a broad community of cannabis consumers. Core areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: Email/text marketing, community and in-store sales events, marketing operations, graphic design, and tracking/reporting

Duties/Responsibilities:

• _Email and Text MarketingWrite, schedule, and send all email and text marketing for Torrey Holistics, California Holistics, and Mammoth Holistics.

Together with the Marketing Director, develop strategies to grow email & text subscriber base.
Maintain accurate tracking documents to showcase key metrics.
Ensure all communications meet California and US compliance regulations.

• _Graphic DesignCreate compelling graphics for all email & text marketing, and in-store TV assets.

• _EventsAssist with the planning and staffing of external events.

Assist with the planning and staffing of in-store sales and community events.
Liaise with outside organizations to vet potential events.

• _Marketing OpsEnsure relevant in-store and online deal information is properly communicated to core stakeholders.

Working together with purchasing to understand what and why items are being purchased and understand and be able to assist in purchasing if needed.
Work together with the store and inventory department to learn our customers and products.
Understand the store POS system so you can track inventory and also be able to assist in the store if needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven proofreading and copywriting experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cannabis and its consumption methods.
• Able to learn and master marketing CRMs such as Sprout, Sweed, and Mailchimp.
• Able to create compelling digital marketing assets in Photoshop.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 4 years relevant marketing & sales experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in the cannabis industry, with dispensary experience highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Prolonged periods of standing while working community events.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Salary:

• $23 - $28 per hour DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
