Hall Body Shop in Virginia Beach is looking for an Supplement Estimator for our busy collision center to support our technicians by working closely with insurance adjusters when original estimates are changed.
Salary for this position will be based on experience level of candidate. The schedule for this position in Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, with one 6PM closing shift, and does require one Saturday per month.

Summary:
As a Body Shop Supplement Estimator you will work closely with Body Shop Technicians and Insurance Adjusters to examine additional damages found on vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage. You will be responsible for supplementing the cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item and submiting same to the insurance company.
Essential Duties for Body Shop Supplement Estimator:
- Examine additional damages found on vehicle when estimate has already been submitted
- Determining feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts
- Preparing supplemental insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimate and recommendations
- Writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Presenting information and responding to questions from managers and insurance representatives
Qualifications for Body Shop Supplement Estimator:
- Valid driver’s license, with 2 or fewer moving violations in last 3 years
- Associates degree or bachelor's degree, preferred
- Confidence to handle high volume estimator needs under limited availability
- Knowledge in Estimating CCC Pathways / CCC One
- Excellent communication skills, high level of initiative, and ability to work in a team
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematic skills
