Summary

Coordinate daily operations of Distribution Services, including Central Supply and Receiving.

Ensure that all work output measures meet established standards, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Assist in reviewing and maintaining adequate inventory levels. Maintain current knowledge of all Distribution Services functions. Work proactively with Distribution Services Manager and other staff on continuous process improvement measures.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent (strong math and problem-solving skills)

Advanced computer skills (MS Office, MMIS, and other related software applications)

Previous experience in inventory control (healthcare preferred)

Proficient oral/written communication skills and customer service

Strong analytical and organizational skills (excellent attention to details)

Ability to work in a team environment and give direction as needed

Ability to work independently with little supervision (decision making, work prioritizing)

Solve immediate problems and proactively works to prevent re-occurrence

Valid Florida driver’s license and have a good driving record

Job Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

Ensure all department functions are in line with organizational goals

• Monitor daily operations to guarantee effective services delivery
• Promote and enforce all appropriate policies and practices

Lead and coordinate Distribution Services staff daily

• Create and post daily assignments according to department schedule
• Ensure that all personnel are properly trained

Effective use software for Materials Management

• Review and update PAR levels as needed
• Reports unusual usage or requests

Work proactively with Distribution Services Team Leader and staff on all supply issues

• Cooperate closely with Purchasing and Receiving departments
• Conduct scheduled rounds to ensure levels of service are being met.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
