We are building our presence in the Southeast and seeking an Environmental Compliance Professional with experience in air compliance and permittingto assist us in our continued growth supporting energy, industrial, and other clients. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with a range of dynamic and diverse projects with our clients throughout the U.S. This is a full-time position which can be in one of our southeast area offices or virtually.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:

• Providetechnical support on environmental compliance projects, with special emphasison air quality permitting and compliance.
• Havea general understanding of Federal and state environmental regulations and theability to evaluate and interpret requirements as they apply to our clients.
• Performcalculations to support reporting, permit applications and compliancerequirements, such as for air emissions, chemical inventories, and waterdischarges. 
• Prepareand communicate technical work products clearly and effectively.
• Workas a part of a team to effectively coordinate with clients and regulators tosupport projects throughout the U.S.
• Contributeto related technical and permitting efforts, as appropriate.
• Performall work in accordance with company and client Health & Safety protocols.
• Complywith Guiding Principles and Code of Behavior articulated in our Company Charter
• Sometravel may be required. 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• B.S./B.A.degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or other relevant field.
• 3 years of related work experience, including internships.
• Experiencein performing air quality modeling using standard air quality models (e.g.,AERMOD, AERSCREEN) is desirable.
• Experiencepreparing permit applications and air emission calculations.
• Technicalreport writing skills
• Communicationskills and ability to collaborate with others in a consulting environment.
• Strongattention to detail with excellent analytical, judgment, and problem-solvingcapabilities.
• Understandingof common industrial activities and the relationship with various environmentalmedia/regulations (e.g., air, wastewater, regulated waste, EPCRA, tanks).
• Workingknowledge of MS Word, Excel and other standard software; GIS or CAD experiencea plus.
