Project Manager, Area Marketing, SEAT Key Responsibilities
Oversees project from design to delivery co-ordinating internal (R&D, QSC, legal, CBIA, PAL etc) and external (agencies, BD&L, etc contributors to drive projects from G1 to the various G3 for launch readiness delivery.
Manages the agenda and cadence of BU PMB and any PMR governance.
Be accountable for building cross-functional project team (functions, people) upon project approval, ability to effectively lead project team under matrix org structure
Drive resolution of team conflicts through skilled negotiation and diplomacy, elevating to accountable functional leaders as necessary
Manages projects tracking system to highlight statprogress of key projects across SEAT and provide the leadership team with line-of-sight on the statprogress of those projects
Partner with the LOC Project Lead (Marketing/Commercial) to ensure that he/she conducts the critical cross functional meetings (1. Kick-off meetings, 2. Joint Planning Sessions and, 3. regular cross-functional team meetings) are conducted to:
Holds regular project status meetings (NPD or Innovation Meetings) with the project leads and cross-functional team
Drive gate readiness partnering closely with Project Accountable Lead and action any gate meeting outcomes with broader project team.
Assume a project management leadership role in teams on key/special priority projects identified by Innovation Lead, alongside the commercial/marketing, GMS/ES and other functional leads, providing confidence and competence necessary to take on the most challenging objectives.
Contribute fully to a climate for success in project teams: foster enthusiasm and teamwork, build relationships, reward and celebrate achievement.
Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience
3-5 years experience in an FMCG environment involved in new product/ new services
Basic Project Management tools expertise
Ability to lead cross functional project team
Problem Solving / Decision Making
Communication & Presentation Skills
Comfortable operating in situations characterized by complexity, ambiguity and high levels of uncertainty
