Full Job Description

Duties may include but not limited to:

• Accurately reading a ruler/tape measure.
• Follow production plan from supervisor or department foreman.
• Load/unload materials onto the machine, up to 40 lbs.
• Call up and run programs, as needed.
• Assure all machined parts are at the highest level of quality and accuracy.
• Read and interpret product drawings and specifications.
• Set up and operate multiple tool operations for the production of parts, as needed.
• Work with engineering team and supervisor to address product issues.

Summary
The CNC Operator/Machinist position requires a skilled individual with a strong foundation in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and machining. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers is essential. Premium skills in CNC programming are highly valued. Experience with CNC lathe, CAD, and CAM programming is beneficial. The role involves working with CNC machines, so a high school diploma or GED is required. The ideal candidate should have a background in machining. SolidWorks and assembly experience are a plus.
