Hakuna Matata Tanning Salon is Hiring a Customer Service Associate and Bed Cleaner Near Syracuse, NY

We are looking for a customer-oriented service representative. A customer service representative who provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. Someone who is genuinely excited to help customers and patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. Problem-solving comes naturally to customer care specialists. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction. You will be on your feet a lot and constantly moving throughout the whole shift. Little down time. You will need to be good at multi-tasking and a team player. You will be responsible for keeping the salon clean throughout the day. Weekends are mandatory. Must work 3 weekend days a month at minimum and be able to work week nights.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers
  • Follow sanitation protocol
  • Up sell
  • Willingness to receive further education on our business
  • Ability to multi-task

Skills

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively'
