The Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring successful product deployment in a vast array customer environments. This role requires someone capable of clearly communicating technical requirements and troubleshooting steps to both internal and external parties throughout the initial integrations of our products. As our technology and customer use-cases evolve, we need Project Engineers with an understanding of both AV and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Front-end coordination with both internal and external stakeholders to help ensure successful installations
• Provide AV/IT documentation to end-users on an as-needed basis throughout the project
• Primary owner of all technical aspects of a project once it’s handed over from the sales and engineering teams
• Review project SOWs and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and modify as necessary for required change orders
• Serve as technical consultant and provide technical support to Haivision MCS project managers throughout the integration cycle of a given project
• Provide commissioning services for the Project Management teams
• Provide technical phone support for internal and external customers for projects during the installation and commissioning phases
• Collaborate with Support team to create technical articles for internal and external Knowledge Bases as needed

Qualification and Skills

• 3 years desktop PC/Mac support and maintenance (Win 7 - 10)Expert knowledge of Windows PC hardware and software environment
• Advanced understanding of IT and systems networks (SSL Certs, IP schemes, DNS servers, etc)
• Ability to learn quickly and master new technologies
• Keen attention to detail with strong problem solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Approximately 20% travel requirement
• A , Net or CTS certifications are strongly preferred
• Ability to train coworkers on new technologies and collaborate across multiple departments
