The Pharmacy Accounts Payable and Inventory Coordinator functions as the point person for accounts payable and inventory coordination. This person provides support and efficiency to pharmacy accounting services. This role assure operational quality and financial efficiency are maintained by working with vendors and our parent company to make sure goods and services are paid in a timely manner. The Pharmacy Accounts Payable and Inventory Coordinator will work with the Pharmacy Management Team, Accounting Team, and Purchasing Team to implement and/or improve inventory management and overall efficiency in the pharmacy.

Essential Responsibilities and Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Coordinates and leads pharmacy accounts payable to assure drug utilization activities are aligned with pharmacy goals.
• Communicates with pharmacy vendors regarding payments due, processed, extracted for payment, etc.
• Communicates with pharmacy accounting, purchasing, and management team on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Helps coordinate quarterly inventory audits, count sheets, research of inventory shrinkage, and preparing inventory adjustments for approval.
• Works in tandem with Pharmacy Operations and Inventory Coordinator II to monitor and manage inventory system for inventory loss and lot adjustments.
• Routinely confirms and enters adjustments for lot numbers, damaged goods, expired goods, per tabs, commercial goods, and compounds.
• Check and clear negative inventory daily.
